I started taking ceramics classes in 2013, frankly, on a whim. I was pursuing a Master’s degree in Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University and decided I needed a creative outlet to balance my academic endeavors with my creative side. I quickly fell in love and have been creating pottery ever since.
I am now a PhD student in Sociology at CWRU focusing on medical sociology and inequalities, with a specific interest in reproduction. When I'm not studying or crafting, I volunteer with local reproductive rights and reproductive justice organizations in my community.
